An overview of the ATAS trading platform

ATAS is a professional trading and analysis platform for order flow and volume trading of futures contracts. It leaves nothing to be desired and offers a wide range of tools and indicators that are only available in ATAS. ATAS processes raw order flow data to present it to traders in an intuitive form. The quality of the data is very important here. WH SelfInvest uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver tick data at almost unlimited speed!

The range of functions offered by ATAS includes outstanding filter and setting options, which can lead to a comprehensive view of market activity and, as a result, improved trader performance.

Smart Tape

With the help of Smart Tape, it is possible to analyze the complete real market depth.

A market transaction of 100 futures contracts can be summarized as a single transaction in ATAS, in contrast to a normal order book, where 100 individual transactions may be displayed. ATAS has developed internal algorithms that make it possible to recognize transactions in their original composition.

In addition, Smart Tape allows for individual filters and settings. This finally makes it possible to see the transactions of large and small market participants in real time. Iceberg orders can also be recognized in this way.

Smart DOM

The biggest enemies of order flow traders are algorithms, especially HFTs (high-frequency algorithms). Smart DOM was developed specifically by ATAS to detect and analyze such algorithms. This tool is also a unique feature of ATAS. The following functions are available with this tool:

1. Displaying large transactions.
2. Finding Iceberg or DND (Do Not Display) transactions.
3. Detecting unauthorized activities by spoofing algorithms.
4. Absorbing limit orders.
5. Changing limit orders in real time.

ATAS Charting and Trading

ATAS has an extensive range of features and offers a variety of chart types. Among other things, 25 footprint functions are available. These offer the possibility to cluster data. What does that mean? Each candle can be viewed from the “inside.” You can display the volume, bids/asks, and deltas per candle and price.

Orders can be entered in Smart DOM and Chart Trader. With Chart Trader, you can trade from within the chart and also via the panel next to the chart.

Tick Cluster

The Tick Cluster is another representation of the Spread Tape. The calculation is similar, and the information is displayed in clusters. This makes it even easier to grasp the information.

You can see the transactions of other market participants that were executed with slippage, the trading volume for the current day, and Level 2 data. This innovative type of display makes it easier to grasp information about trading volume.
