Nasdaq Index Futures
Private investors trade the E-mini Nasdaq Future and the Micro E-mini Nasdaq Future. The difference between these two futures is the size of the contract. The micro future is ten times smaller than the mini future. Both futures are listed on the CME. The Chicago Mercantile Exchange has been active since 1898 and is the largest futures exchange in the world.

Tip: The code for a futures contract consists of its symbol plus a letter and a number. The letter indicates the month and the number indicates the year. For example, NQZ2 is the E-mini Nasdaq futures contract maturing in December 2022.
In terms of nominal value, the E-mini Nasdaq future is the most traded future of the two. The most traded future in terms of number of contracts is the Micro Nasdaq future. This is logical, as the contract is ten times smaller.
