What is Eurex?
The European Exchange (Eurex) is one of the world's largest futures exchanges for financial derivatives (futures and options), created in 1998 from the merger of the DTB (Deutsche Terminbörse) and SOFFEX (Swiss Options and Financial Futures Exchange). Today, customers from all over the world trade futures on Eurex.
What DAX futures are available?
DAX futures are electronically traded futures based on the German stock index DAX 40. The DAX 40 index comprises the 40 largest and most liquid companies on the German stock market and represents around 80% of the market capitalization of listed stock corporations in Germany.

Tip: What is a tick? A tick is the smallest possible price movement on the exchange. For example, if the DAX stands at 20,000, the index can rise to 20,001, 20,002, etc. A rise to 20,000.50 is not possible.
Tip: What is the value of a tick? For example, if you buy a standard DAX future at 20,000 and the future rises to 20,001, you earn 25 €.
Tip: A letter and a number are added to the symbol. The letter is the month. The number is the year. For example, FDXMZ22 is the mini DAX future maturing in December 2022.
